I have the honour to submit for the
signification of His Majesty's pleasure an Ordinance
intituled: -
2.
An Ordinance to consolidate and amend the law
with respect to certain unclaimed balances
and certain other unclaimed sums.
The Bill was submitted to His Honour
the Chief Justice who approved.
3. The enclosed report by the Attorney General
explains the reasons for this Ordinance and the
Hansard report of the second reading of the Bill is
enclosed.
4. The Bill was passed by the Legislative
Council with some slight textual amendments.
